    COST OF STUDYING IN IRELAND

    Tuition rates vary according on the topic of study, university, and programme selected. Additionally, tuition fees for European and non-European students vary significantly. Students from outside the EU and EEA should budget at least €9,000 per year, with some degrees costing up to €30,000.

    IRELAND IMMIGRATION

    Irish universities and colleges have two distinct admissions processes. In certain universities, intakes are also referred to as semesters.

    ☑ Intake 1: Fall Semester –A popular intake that begins in September.

    ☑ Intake 2: The Spring Semester begins in January.

    Conditions of Eligibility:

    ☑ Students must be at least 18 years old.

    ☑ Non-EEA students having a Stamp 2 permit to remain are permitted to work in casual jobs. They are permitted to work up to 20 hours per week during the school year and up to 40 hours per week during the summer.

    ☑ Postgraduate students from outside the EU/EEA who continue to work on their dissertations beyond their tests are not permitted to work more than 20 hours per week part-time during the college's summer break, as they are still considered to be in full-time study by the GNIB.

    The supporting documents necessary for a Student Visa in Ireland includes:

    ☑ Valid Passports

    ☑ Letter of Acceptance from the college/university

    ☑ Proof of payment of the registration and tuition fees

    ☑ Proof of financial funds

    ☑ Two passport sized pictures

    ☑ Study Permit and visa

    ☑ Evidence for explaining any gaps in educational history of the candidate

    ☑ English Proficiency

    ☑ Your University will make you aware of additional criteria if any prior to your application

    ☑ Third Level Graduate Scheme This scheme permits non-EU/EEA students who have graduated from Irish higher education institutions to stay in Ireland for up to 24 months in order to look for work.

    ☑ Once a student obtains employment, he or she is eligible to apply for a Green Card/Work Permit.
